About us

Our Story So Far

Brighton International School began back in 2015 in BKK1, st 294. Our founder Christopher Bell, after falling in love with Cambodia decided to create a community-enriching educational institution. A school which fosters a lifelong love of learning with a pivotal focus on learning through fun.

Sadly, Chris passed away in October 2015 after only 6 months of the school's operations, handing the mantle of the business to his 2 sons, Adam and David. As a tribute to their father, the brothers decided to turn the school into a not-for-profit social enterprise whose beneficiaries would be the community it serves.

Since then the school has seen many changes, in its students, faculty, buildings, curriculum and even its location. The pandemic forced a lot of change but also highlighted the school's resilience and importance to its community.

We are now situated in Boeng Tumpun, which a short  15-minute ride south of the Russian market that boasts a much larger outdoor space conducive for holistic learning.

We look forward to our continued development with our community as our driving focus. Please get in touch if you'd like to contribute or help in anyway. We'd love to hear from you!

Best wishes,
Adam & David

"To provide and equip our students with the requisite knowledge, skills and attitude required to become outstanding global citizens through the empowerment of education"

"To nurture and develop our students in our local context while fostering an understanding of regional and international cultures and customs while adhering to the UK National Curriculum"

Every child is a unique individual who deserves a safe, caring and nurturing environment in which to grow emotionally, intellectually and physically.

It is our desire as an institution to help the students achieve their full potential by creating an environment conducive to fun-learning which promotes the sharing of ideas, caters for and encourages self-guided discovery which supports a holistic programme geared towards achieving a well-rounded, internationally-minded learner.
